Your membership privacy

Founding Membership is currently free. No payment details are collected and you will never be charged automatically. Future prices are plans only; any paid offer needs your separate choice.

We use your email to verify ownership and provide passwordless sign-in. Your account stores your verified email, optional magical name, free membership status, essential session data and any newsletter preference, consent and confirmation-request status you explicitly request. Your profile is private. A necessary, HttpOnly session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days.

Magic Links expire after 15 minutes and work once. Expired verification, session and short-lived abuse-control records are removed during subsequent membership requests. If you choose newsletters, verifying your membership requests a separate newsletter confirmation. You are added to the newsletter only after that separate confirmation. You can request confirmation or stop newsletter emails in Profile; stopping newsletters leaves Premium access intact. Brevo remains the source of newsletter subscription and unsubscribe status.

For Gold Reading, your current browser sends your test answers to the server to calculate the existing reading. These answers and the generated reading are not saved to your membership database. Your browser’s existing test storage keeps its own retention and deletion behavior.

You can change your name, sign out, or permanently delete your account in Profile. Deletion removes the account, magical name, membership, local newsletter preferences, all sessions and outstanding sign-in links. Your newsletter subscription is separate: use Stop newsletter emails in Profile before deleting, or the unsubscribe link in any newsletter. Sign in within the last 15 minutes before deleting. Browser test data and any separately created Between Us records follow their own deletion rules.

Cloudflare provides application hosting and D1 storage. When live email is separately enabled, Brevo delivers requested sign-in messages and manages separately confirmed newsletters. We store the time and wording version of newsletter consent and confirmation requests in D1; sign-in and membership do not depend on newsletter subscription. Local development previews do not send real email. Hosting region, processor agreements, backup deletion and the final free-access policy require review before public launch.
